Air Force Golden Jubilee Souvenir Book, (Johannesburg, 1970) op p. /0 o.m. meegedeel dat ing. John Weston 'n opleidingsinrigting vir vlieeniers op Brandfort beplan het ell ill dieselfde jaar (/911), in Londen die African Aviation Syndicate ill die lewe geroep is om, sowel teoreties as prakties, die militere vliegkuns ill die Ullie vall Suid-Afrika te bevorder.
